Learning with LEGO® at school

Why learn with LEGO® at school? There are several compelling reasons: learning through play is enjoyable, and when something is enjoyable, it tends to be more memorable. With LEGO®, the possibilities are virtually limitless, allowing LEGO® lessons to seamlessly integrate with any covered theme. Combine this with over 90 years of expertise in effective play—LEGO® literally translates to "play well" in Danish. Additionally, LEGO® offers a diverse range of sets that not only engage children but also introduce them to 'computational thinking' skills. These skills equip them to excel in subjects that may not even be on our radar yet.

For everyone

Learning through play, you ask? Absolutely.

Is play not always taken seriously? It's typically associated with activities meant for children and often deemed as insignificant. However, what does play truly entail, and is it genuinely devoid of value? Learning takes place through play, and when an activity is enjoyable, our memory of it becomes stronger.

We are actively developing these skills.

1

Collaboration

You can learn from each other, because together you make the world more beautiful. Young children learn this early. You develop this skill for the rest of your life.

2

To research

Scientists conduct research to understand the world around them. They ask themselves questions or face a problem. Students learn to solve problems by doing research.

3

Creative thinking

Creative thinking and acting is the ability to find new and/or unusual but applicable ideas for existing issues.

4

Reading comprehension

With reading comprehension you learn to process information from a text. By following short textual instructions and giving instructions themselves, students bring their self-conceived creation to life.

5

Analyzing

Problem-solving thinking and acting is the ability to recognize and recognize a problem and come up with a plan to solve the problem.

6

Present

Showcase what you have created, researched and achieved through collaboration. You can do that in different ways. We'll get started with that.
